Asian Archives of Pathology is a peer-reviewed journal. The Journal was First published in 2002 under the Thai name “วารสารราชวิทยาลัยพยาธิแพทย์แห่งประเทศไทย”and English name “Journal of the Royal College of Pathologists of Thailand”, the journal is a publication for workers in all disciplines of pathology and forensic medicine. In the first 3 years (volumes), the journal was published every 4 months. Until 2005, the journal has changed its name to be “Asian Archives of Pathology. The official Journal of Royal College of Pathologists of Thailand”, published quarterly to expand the collaboration among people in the fields of pathology and forensic medicine in the Asia-Pacific regions and the Western countries. The journal will be in English only except part of local communications that may contain Thai words. All the articles and abstracts are in English. The journal features original articles, case reports, case illustrations, technical notes, review articles and letters to the editor. Research and clinical areas covered are histopathology, cytopathology, immunopathology, molecular pathology, microbiology, parasitology, immunology, chemical pathology, hematology, clinical pathology, point-of-care testing, forensic pathology, forensic medicine, and forensic science. All issues of our journal have been printed in hard copy since the beginning. Around the late 2014, we  developed our website ( www.asianarchpath.com ) in order to increase our viibility. We would like to acknowlege that our journal has been sponsored by the  Royal College of Pathologists, Thailand; we have the policy to disseminate the verified scientific knowlege to the publics  with non- profit basis. That is why our journal is free-excess one and we have not charged the authors whose manuscripts  have been  submitted or accepted for publication in our journal . However, due to appropriate situation, the journal will be disseminated only through on-line and  the hard copy will no longer provide  starting from the issue July-October 2016. However, if the authors  want to have the hard copy, they have to pay 250 USD/ 10 copies of each issue.
